GQ Style Night: 2014

On September 11th, I attended a Style Night held by GQ on my favourite street in London – Carnaby Street! The night was filled with free alcohol (and lots of it), DJ sets in some of the coolest stores, famous faces, entertainment and many envious discounts available for all shops on the street and neighbouring streets. It was absolutely wonderful.

There were so many beautifully dressed men, it truly was like heaven for absolutely anyone. Some outfits were crazy, some were tacky yet tasteful, and some were truly bizarre. It was like a mini Fashion Week before actual fashion week started in London so as you can probably imagine it was jam-packed with people.

The highlight of my evening however was meeting the beautiful bearded model-god Ricki Hall; he was doing a DJ set in Lyle & Scott and let me tell you, I was one happy lady.

It was such a great night, another highlight of the evening was attending a talk with British GQ’s style editor in chief as he spoke about staple key items of clothing in any man’s wardrobe in order to expand into own personal taste and styles. It was informative and very, very helpful for both men and women into gaining inspiration. A successful night for the fashion and personal style bloggers who also attended.
